partner organizations : the quality of our work will depend on our network of advocates and spies who will help advertise our scholarship opportunities and actively enlist those ultra-talented youth who are in danger of slipping through the cracks. if your organization has consistent access to young talent, then consider partnering with us by shepherding that talent and directing it toward opportunities for growth. high school and middle school art departments are at the top of our list, but we have countless other ideas. contact us directly if you see a potential relationship.
like-minded organizations : we hope to be consistently outward-focused, not only in the services we provide on a local level but also our posture as in institution on the national stage. the assets we possess and the needs we’ve identified are by no means unique to our context. the lessons we learn, and the programs and administrative systems we develop might be valuable resources to other folks like ourselves, nationwide. we hope to build an active network of like-minded artists, activists, non-profit managers, educators, and so forth. just as our artists will collaborate and encourage one another, we hope to have other more experienced organizations to turn to for advice, and we look forward to offering help and friendship to other groups who follow behind.
this is more of a dream than a goal - it will take time for those relationships to emerge. in the meantime, we plan to templatize and freely-distribute start-up guides for the projects we complete and the events we host (for those that succeed, at least!) so that anyone could easily replicate these programs in their own community, school, or ministry settings. we hope to remove obstacles to action by helping other novice groups fly through the daunting front-end administrative tasks with our sample event summaries, schedules, to-do-lists, and so on. as these resources are developed, they will be posted under resources and linked where appropriate on our events page. please download, enjoy, distribute, improve-upon, and offer feedback.
